      As Senior Advisor, I was responsible for cross-government initiatives to improve the social, economic, and wellbeing outcomes for Indigenous peoples in BC. Through this role, I launched an internal working group to advance the quality, availability, and use of Indigenous socio-economic data for policy development and decision making. I successfully convened a working group with 12 cross-government representatives who identified and coordinated responses to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for Indigenous women impacted by major projects in Northern BC. I was a mentor in the Indigenous Youth Internship Program. I was the secretariat for the Minister's Advisory Council on Indigenous Women (MACIW) and built strong and trusting relationships with Council members. I helped advance their mandate by working closely with the Council to help develop an Indigenous Gender-Based Analysis Plus toolkit for the public service and facilitated a process for the Ministry and Council to collaborate on updated Terms of Reference. As a Gender Equity Advisor, I launched and co-chaired a cross-government working group who shared knowledge and advice with the Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA+) Secretariat on integrating Indigenous perspectives into the BC Public Service’s roll out of GBA+.Roles included Senior Operation Advisor (April 2018 - December 2018) and Senior Advisor (January 2019 - April 2019).
