Director of UCM's Testing Services oversees the Office of Testing Services and manages the budget, in accordance with policies that promote high quality operations, ethical practices as outlined in the Code for Fair Testing Practices in Education, professional mandates, and policies consistent with the University and the National Collegiate Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines for professional testing services. The Director supervises multiple full-time testing coordinators, graduate assistants, student workers, part-time and temporary test supervisors and proctors. Senior Testing Coordinator

The primary purpose of this position is to administer the University’s multiple schedules for the delivery of standardized testing at UCM and MIC; including web, computer & paper-pencil based testing, in compliance with local, state, & federal test policies & regulations. Furthermore managing daily activities involving entrance, placement, exit, correspondence, national & other exam administrations. Address frequent unique & stressful situations. Provide consultation & serve as an intermediary to students, faculty, staff, testing companies & community agencies regarding testing accommodations, test-related problems, customer & student requests/complaints. Oversee test registration; billing & collection of test administration fees, as well as assisting the Director with overall budget management. Responsible for providing accurate & confidential test information through various methods of communication. Coordinate the full-time, temporary & student staff, regarding testing schedules & needs. Provide the Director with daily feedback on processes & problems. Train & directly supervise full-time, temporary & student employees at Warrensburg & MIC, who administer and/or proctor standardized tests, scan/grade faculty tests/evaluations & perform daily office tasks. Job functions include personnel management, operations management, financial management, technology involvement & customer service focus. Accuracy, security, timeliness & confidentiality are critical. Tests are administered for course placement, college acceptance, national licensing agencies, certification granting organizations & for other Institutions. Errors made in the administration of these exams can have significant consequences on students, faculty & individuals on/off campus.
