  As a researcher, my primary duties consisted of reaching out to organizations and individuals who might be interested in participating in an upcoming documentary feature. I spoke with people across Canada and the USA conducted phone interviews to gather information to pass on to the project's director.I assisted with organizing and budgeting travel arrangements for the film's crew to various locations in the USA and Canada. I made sure that they were getting the best flight deals, as well as suitable hotel and car rentals. I also acted as the Social Media Coordinator for this film. I was in charge of creating and maintaining social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter). I made sure to keep these pages up to date and to include relevant and exciting content. These pages were created to appeal to both possible participants in the documentary and its future audience.

  I spent a year working as an English language assistant at I.E.S. Carlos III, a secondary school in the San Blas area of Madrid. I worked with students from ages 12-18 who were studying English as a second language. Lessons varied depending on the level of students. For some groups, I created presentations relating to the topics they were learning and also about my home country (Canada). The presentations had to be engaging and adaptable to to students of varying levels of English. I was also responsible for conversation classes with groups of 6 students. For these classes, I needed to always have new topics/themes ready for discussion and be able to pick up on common mistakes that students make. I also helped teach grammar and pronunciation to students, alongside the main classroom teacher.
