  Investigating tactile perception of electrical stimuli applied to the hand. Research is hoped to fascilitate the development of a sensory system, a re-engineered sense of touch, for a prosthetic hand. Within the past year, I have conducted studies of transcutaneous stimulation percept quality and perceived intensity. More recently, I have investigated the sensory experience induced by electrocutaneous stimulation frequencies, specifically the ability to discriminate against perceived intensity and perceived frequency.
