I was commissioned to work with ThinkYoung, a think tank that recently opened a new office in Hong Kong, to design and establish an online platform to allow a cultural dialogue to develop between young people in China and Europe, through a user-uploaded media archive. I also made two documentary films on how the local community in Hong Kong uses public space in ways that go against the government restrictions: I explored this theme through the personal stories of a homeless man living in a park shelter with eight other men, and an old woman that makes a living selling second-hand goods in the illegal night market whilst caring for her granddaughter.

      • Oct 2011 - Aug 2012

I worked in a team that is responsible for implementing development projects for South West Water. I initially started as a short-term temp however due to my initiative and the high level of expertise I achieved, the contract was extended to a year, and I was given the additional responsibility of organising and managing a series of training events. From designing and publishing a training manual, to presenting the information to a group, I learnt how to manage a project through to its end result. In addition, I configured various programs, facilitated engagement sessions and provided support to technicians in the field.
