  Representing Oklahoma Insurance Department in the Life and Health Division as Agency Liaison my responsibilities include the education of agents, producers, brokers and consumers regarding the changes affecting the health insurance industry in Oklahoma and nationally. This includes the research and development of continuing education presentations to industry professionals, industry specific topics to civic groups and resource options for dislocated workers.   As an outreach representative traveling Eastern Oklahoma for Insure Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Insurance Department, my responsibilities included the promotion and education of the Insure Oklahoma program as well as the services provided by the Oklahoma Insurance Department to agents, producers, brokers, employers and employees. I conducted continuing education for industry professionals specific to the Insure Oklahoma program and conducted face to face small business appointments and employee meetings regarding the Employer Sponsored Insurance/IO program. I worked closely with the program's administrator and industry professionals in resolving customer service and administration issues. I currently assist the Department with program updates. Show less
