I pursued and cultivated meaningful relationships with each student and their families, which often consisted of meetings in Spanish as well as English and the use of local resources to combat a number of obstacles the individuals might be facing. In addition, I planned and assisted in fundraising events, auctions, benefit-dinners, presentations, and more. I coordinated staff meetings, volunteer recruitment, and student field-trips as well as student scholarship opportunities and internships.
