      During my placement year I have had the opportunity to work in a range of departments. I started as a customer service assistant for UK transient and was quickly chosen to move over to work in the Rest of the World department by my second month. My role included duties such as dealing with inbound customer queries, making amendments to bookings, booking travel extras such as airport and golf transfers and flights which required high level of attention to detail. I gained excellent customer care skills as I had to deal with a wide variety of individuals. I have gained strong relationships as my role involved close contact with customers, suppliers and colleagues and ensuring that customers’ expectations are met and exceeded. I was part of a team who aimed to ensure that every aspect of the business provided their customers with a positive impression of Golfbreaks.com. I also had the opportunity to be involved with the recruitment process within Human Resources department.
