Recent Productions: HOUSE/HOME - Southwark Playhouse July 2022 - an evening of short theatre pieces amplifying the voices of people who grew up outside of London. Dancing to Disco - VAULT Festival 2022 (Cancelled due to COVID) and The Space, August 2021 - a five-star coming-of-age tale about class, identity and the UK education system. Founded in 2021 after the theatre industry was badly hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, Lyle Productions was created to give emerging artists a chance to be involved in professional work. All artists involved with Lyle Productions will be in their first five years in the industry; we aim to create opportunities that are sometimes hard to come by. Founded by Rebecca Lyle, a theatre producer with a passion for creating work that is relevant to the society we live in today, Lyle Productions focuses on new musical theatre and plays, from research and development through to production. Producing live events at Tramshed: outdoor festivals, monthly comedy nights, indoor emerging artist festivals.Recent Projects:Greenwich Family Arts Festival 2022 - a free festival across the borough of Greenwich offering theatre shows and arts workshops for families. The festival took place every weekend in July in parks, non-traditional venues and alternative sites and spaces. GFAF 2022 had 47 performances and 21 workshops.Woolwich Community Festival 2022 - using funding from Arts Council England's Jubilee Fund, this festival ran across the Jubliee Weekend. Working with local community partners (Caribbean Social Forum, Nigerian Community Greenwich, Black Female Entrepreneurs and St George's Garrison Church), this free four-day festival put these community groups at the heart of programming through dance, music, games and food.Comedy at Tramshed: monthly comedy nights with 3 experienced acts per show.
