      As the Benefits Coordinator for CAP TULSA, our employees are my clients, I enjoy getting to know and assisting each employee as they handle and deal with the events that life may throw their way and how it can impact their employment. In my current role my duties include but are not limited to counseling employees on all benefits offered by CAP, administering the enrollment, eligibility and coverage of each benefit. Administering workers compensation program including processing of claims with carrier, reporting and serving as liaison between employee, manager and insurance carriers. Tracking and administering FMLA and personal leaves of absence. Reconcile payments of benefit premiums each month for all employees and Agency payments. Coordinating and presenting monthly benefit programs including NEO, annual meetings for open enrollments and quarterly meetings for employee 403(b). As well as being the Wellness Ambassador for the HR department, duties for this include monthly utilization and incentive level reports, quarterly surveys and incentive orders, annual trainings and informational presentations on use of the program. As the Benefit Coordinator I am here to make each transition our employees go through in regards to life events, eligibility and enrolling in these programs, as seamless as possible. Knowing that the better equipped to do their job they are, the better they will be for the children they care for.
