When my first child was born in October 2001, my husband and I decided that it would be best for us if I stayed home and raised our family and took care of household duties. During this time I have babysat for family and friends, having up to 2 full time children and 2 part time children in my care at any given time. The only times I did not babysit children were during the end on my pregnancies with my last 2 children and the last 2 years (2013-2015) that we lived in SC. My responsibilities were to handle the daily deposit for the whole dealership, reconcile and balance the monthly bank statement, write funding checks for GMAC finance deals, enter sold car information in the computer, make sure all papers in the customer folder were signed and accounted for, send off completed finance contracts to the appropriate financial institutions, make and file the customer folder. I also covered the receptionist desk for lunch and breaks, answering multiple phone lines, dispatching calls and taking messages and opening mail and getting it to the correct people. I was trained to cover accounts receivable and accounts payable and could also do a little work at the Title desk in the event of someones absence. Show less

Mar 1996 - Sep 1997
I was a cashier, checking customers out and accepting payment, making sure my register was clean and stocked with checkout line items. I worked in the Jewelry department assisting customers with jewelry purchases. I worked in Soft Lines, which is the clothing department and baby department, opening the fitting rooms, helping customers find what they were looking for, doing mark downs and sale pricing.
