This role focused mainly on sales administration by creating relationships with customers, ensuring customer requests are completed and arranging orders for scheduled shipments on a daily basis using SAP. My role involved monitoring actual sales verses forecasted targets and assisting sales managers in achieving sales goals by maintaining accurate records and delivery schedules. I was in charge of making sure I maintained audit compliant file plans of all sales, credit and shipping documentation and ensuring they comply with SOX guidelines. I provided support for all Metallurgical Europe accounts however I was also the back up for the European Chemical sector. This role gave me the opportunity to develop my skills and work out the Freeport McMoRan - Corporate office in Phoenix,US. This was a three month time period in which I provided assistance to fill in for their US Chemical Accounts. This role used all my best assets such as organisation, confidence, communication and most importantly teamwork.
