  My duties include ensuring residents nutrition and fluid intake requirements are met, making and distributing supper and assisting with eating. Helping with all personal care needs such as washing and dressing, using the toilet and changing of continence products. I am familiar and have assisted with both stoma bags and male catheters. I am also responsible for the safe distribution and storage of all medicines onsite and ensuring correct and appropriate paperwork is completed including mar charts, night check sheets, care plans, residents individual cardex and a nightly diary. I am also responsible for all cleaning duties in the common areas of the home, laundering bedding and clothes and prepping food for the kitchen staff the next day. In the last four months I have helped train a new member of staff and mentored her through her own medication training. During my time here I have completed multiple redcrier courses and have done 7 out of the 15 standards for my care certificate.
