Leisure AttendantWithin my role I provide customers with a variety of services. When I am on the main desk within the skate park I make sure that all participants have a valid wrist band so that if they are stopped by anyone they have evidence that they have paid for their session. I coach children how to skateboard groups and one to one helping them with safety, balance and all types of ablates. I also assist groups of people in making sure that their harnesses are securely fastened and provide support during their sky trail and clamming experience. Health and safety is a major factor within the Extreme Evolution area and so I monitor peoples rule abiding behaviour. When people come in to use the skate park, it is important that they wear the necessary safety equipment and if they are under 18 years old it is compulsory for them to wear a safety helmet at all times. My job involves assembling and sanding cabinet doors using a variety of power tools and machinery in the main workshop, ready for finishing. I have my own workshop that contains a spray booth where I apply sealer, undercoat and final coats on doors, drawers and frames using a spray paint system. It is my responsibility to keep my work area and tools and equipment clean and tidy. There are occasions where I will provide a service of final hand painted finish on site in the clients own home. Very often I help with deliveries and load and unload materials and finish products using appropriate manual handling techniques. I also have the responsibility of keeping an eye on stock levels within my own workshop area such as paints and lacquers. I have good awareness of personal health and safety using PPE provided.
