I gained my NVQ Diploma Level 3 in Pharmacy services while working for Day Lewis. My knowledge has expanded and still extremely patient focused. I investigate every query and ensure patient safety in the running of our pharmacy. I encourage staff straining and working towards my Accuracy Checking qualification. I provide Stop Smoking services and work along side my Pharmacist with other services such as hypertension. I work closely with patients in the management of their medication and in charge of our Carehome’s medication. I help with stock control, dispensing, claiming and processing as daily duties but put patient’s care first. I deal with Gps, hospitals, summary care discharges, other healthcare professionals.

I worked as a pharmacy dispenser in the dispensary and MDS. We processed around 15,000 items a month and hit target. I was very patient focused and provided services such as Stop Smoking and Health Checks, including cholesterol. I was a team player in dispensing, claiming, processing and ordering pharmaceutical stock. I worked as a pharmacy dispenser in the dispensary and MDS. I mainly organise prescription management and keep in contact with patients who have Stomas. I tend to their needs making sure they have their appliances every month to help maintain their health. I provide advice and request repeat prescriptions from surgeries. I deal with patients on a daily basis over the phone and with their GP surgeries. I build admirable relationships with our patients and provide support. I carry out administration duties and make sure patient have their epuiptment on time. I help organise a discharge plan for patients with the Stoma Care Nurses in hospitals, when a patient has been discharged with a new stoma. I continue the discharge plan and provide care for patients

I worked as a Pharmacy Advisor organising the CHS room and training staff. I was deputy Key Contact and provided efficient and safe running of the dispensing and team. I dispensed medication while keeping to SOP’s keeping log of patients PMR’s with prescription management. I also worked within the Walk In, advising customers on care and dispensing prescriptions. I kept stock levels low in the CHS room and organised ordering of stock needed. I conversed with GP surgeries on a daily basis, as well as carehomes and patients.
