Rebecca's role at Methodist Ladies' College, Claremont followed a five-year Principalship at Woodford House, New Zealand, where adapting to life in another country extended Rebecca's competencies and offered her a rich grounding in change management. In 2012, Rebecca received a WA Business News 40-under-40 award for her strategic revision of the MLC leadership model and development of a new philanthropic campaign to help lead the school forward. She was also the University of Western Australia's Strategic Alliance Winner. Rebecca has recently served on the Uniting Church's Commission for Education, Discipleship and Leadership, and the Trinity Learning Centre Steering Group. She was an appointed member of the Western Australian School Curriculum and Standards Authority - Secondary Principals’ Forum, an elected member of the AISWA Board and a member of the Alliance of Girls’ Schools Australasia. Current memberships include Australian Heads of Independent Schools Australia, and Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is also an alumna of the Cranlana Programme. Rebecca keeps fit by chasing her son and daughter around the house in search of cuddles, and professes to be a connoisseur of Japanese green tea. The cuddles and tea are best enjoyed with a literary classic (whether it be Dr Seuss or Jane Austen)! Show less
