  During the summer of 2018, I was an extern with my local YMCA for their summer Park and Play program. The mission of Park and Play was to bring free lunches to families over the summer to help provide one meal for kids a day during the week. The meaning was to help families with one meal a day that the kids could potentially be missing because school was no longer in session. As a site manager for two locations, I was responsible for putting together an activity for the kids to do after they ate lunch.
