I am an Assistant Professor in the Clinical PhD program at the California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant International University-Los Angeles. I mainly teach courses in statistics and research. I advise students on research projects and dissertations. I run research labs focused on trauma, health and resilience, chronic pain, weightism, parenting, trauma-informed care in schools and communities, mindfulness and anti-racism, and the effectiveness or creative therapeutic modalities such as: mindfulness, art, and play therapy.
