Take care of all behind scenes tasks to make sure that both the offices of Swinomish Housing and Utilities run efficiently. More importantly, I have become a trusted advocate for community members. I have partnered with Housing Urban Development and tribal lenders, presented Homeownership workshops to educate community how the 184 Loan program works, engaged with the Office of Rural Development to look for grant resources for our Elders for Mold Remediation and safety reconstruction/remodel. I serve community members in locating outside resources for assistance, I am an ally for fair and equitable treatment of tribal members for both the Housing department and the Utilities department. I am responsible for the day to day operations of front office for two departments; take and direct all incoming calls, assist all customers coming into offices, receive payments for both Utilities and Housing, order and maintain all supplies for both departments, work with vendors, monthly billings, reconcile receivables at close out, balance cash till at the close of business and all other duties as assigned.
