I worked as procurement lead; identifying the best quality products whilst making cost savings. I worked on patient safety and quality improvement projects. This involved identifing areas of risk and working on strategies to reduce that risk. I worked as procurement lead; identifying the best quality products whilst making cost savings. Anaesthetic Trainee
-
Aug 2007 - Mar 2015
Clinically trained in anaesthesia passing postgraduate examinations. I worked in education and gained a certificate in medical education. I created a business plan and put into place a mentoring system for new trainees which had excellent feedback. I have taught adult learners in small groups, lecture theatres and in one to one settings. I chaired the East Midlands Group of Anaesthetists in Training and represented views. I have a solution based attitude in all matters that a problem needs to be first properly defined and then an innovative solution found. I have leadership skills from experience of working in groups and leading colleagues. I was appointed trainee service lead and attended the East Midlands Leadership Academy, leading across the boundaries run in partnership with ARUP. Here I worked on efficiency and utilisation projects. Show less
