During her Master's placement at YBS, Rebeca completed an in-depth and thorough piece of research on the topic of Integrated Reporting (IR). She took the lead and worked cross-functionnally to produce a comprehensive best practice analysis and set of recommendations for us to follow as we transition towards IR. Rebeca truly hit the ground running with her project, grasping the complexity of the topic within the first few weeks and producing valuable insights that we are now putting into action. It was a real pleasure to work with her, she's very personable with a can-do attitude which meant she settled into YBS really quickly and built strong ties with the whole team. We were all sad to see her go and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to strengthen their team.

I engage with community leaders, MPs, councillors and the general public to identify challenges communities face in accessing cash. I help develop reports and papers to influence policy making, and help identify areas where LINK can directly commission ATMs to resolve these challenges, particularly focusing on deprived areas and vulnerable communities. I developed a research project into best practices in Integrated Reporting for the Corporate Responsibility, Finance, and Governance teams in YBS. These recommendations were included in the 2019 Annual Report, which was expanded to include information on Value Creation and Stakeholder Impact. I managed an international cooperation development project (Spain-Peru) with 200 direct beneficiaries over 4 districts in the city of Lima, Peru. This involved coordinating the implementation of workshops, advocacy meetings with local government authorities and a communication campaign, as well as reporting on the project's progress and follow up phase. The aim of the project was to improve gender equality in underprivileged areas of the city.

I worked as community manager engaging with various stakeholders across Peru. Some examples of this include developing community relations for sustainable cities in three cities in Peru, which involved 25 local leaders representing approximately 7,000 people; producing a 16 episode radio programme with an audience of 100,000 people; and leading public relations for events of up to 500 people. Additionally I assisted in the formulation and monitoring of social development projects using the Logical Framework approach for international cooperation projects.
