Dec 2015 - Present
Our Unit basically focuses on enabling wholesale connectivity across Africa. As a matter of fact we strive to provide telecom players with tailored solutions through Africa towards the rest of the world, based on a formidable footprint of 100+ PoPs; which are interconnected to 25+ submarine cables. Considering our purposely customer centric approach, having an African native who also happens to be familiar with the western way of doing business definitely helps to effectively bridge both worlds. Jul 2013 - Dec 2015
The African economy is drawing increasing attention. In fact even the many deficiencies of this economy are potentially just as many business opportunities; especially as many Western economies continue to struggle, in relative terms at least. As we inescapably move from broadly conventional B2C/B2B business models towards a more H2H (Human to Human) approach, establishing an effective communication channel is now of paramount importance within this era of glocalization. In that respect, multicultural knowledge (combined with hard skills, obviously) is turning into a valuable asset in order to successfully define and align the expectations of both African and Western stakeholders. And that is exactly the kind of instant added value that an international self-starter such as myself brings to the table, through an adapted Customer Relationship Management; and in this context between Belgacom and MTN Group.
