  As a shift leader at Menchie's, I preformed various tasks which included training others, counting registers, assisting customers, and cleaning as well. I am trained as a opener and closer. While opening the store, I have to bring out all of the supplies needed for the day (i.e. toppings/yogurt) and get it ready for the whole day. I also have to count the registers and start up the cash register. There is only one person to open the store, so I do everything myself. For the closing shift, I assist customers at the register, as well as make sure the store is kept clean (i.e. yogurt spills). At the end of the night, I clean the store with a co-worker. Cleaning includes the outdoor patio, the bathroom, the dishes, the counters, the floors, and the rest of the store. When everything is cleaned, I have to count both registers and make sure the store is cleaned and up to par. Then, I put an alarm on for the store and lock the door. At Menchie's, I also make the schedule for one of the owner's 3 locations. Show less
