I worked on a large range of equipment from Gas Turbines to changing light bulbs. The roll changed with postings and promotions, from being an engine room watch keeper on DC propulsion engines on a survey ship to being a control systems maintainer on a Fast Frigate. Mainly maintenance and monitoring , emergency breakdown , supervising groups of personnel. One on the main attributes was being able to operate under extreme pressure. I was also on of two trainers for the underground Mine Rescue teams, which was interesting and gave a change to the normal works. I was the electrical nominee for the site and as such help formulate and control electrical upgrades and compliance.
