      ActivateUTS is the service provision body at the University of Technology, Sydney. It is involved in the provision of hospitality and retail services, functions, a fitness centre as well as the administration of over 140 clubs and societies. I was elected as a board director by the student body from 2012-2014. I was re-elected for a second term from 2015-2017. I was elected as the President of the board in 2016, to serve a term from 2016-2017. Previously, I had been elected Vice President in 2014, following the resignation of the then-president.In my capacity as a board director, I sit, or have sat, on the following committees which report to the board of the UTS Union Ltd- Sports Management Committee- Sports and Recreation Sub-Committee- Programs Committee- Clubs and Societies Sub-CommitteeDuring my time on the board, I have been heavily involved with the following achievements:- Re-branding of the UTS Union to ActivateUTS- $8 million refurbishment of the UTS Haberfield Club- $800 000 refurbishment and upgrade of the UTS food court and bar- Refurbishment and upgrade of the UTS Fitness Centre- Refurbishment and upgrade of the Sydney Boys High School Fitness Centre- Instigation of numerous events to cater for UTS' increasingly diverse population, including Harmony Week, Pride Week and Interfaith Day

      UTS Haberfield Club is a subsidiary company of UTS Union Ltd. It is the home of UTS' elite rowing club, featuring world-class sporting and fitness facilities. It also caters for the needs of its members through an a la carte restaurant and bar.During my time on the board, I have been heavily involved in the following achievements:- $8 million refurbishment of the club, involving a full rebuild of the facilities- Re-drafting of the Constitution, to service the needs of the new club and its members- Establishment of the new club-owned and run restaurant- Rebranding of the new club, to be more accessible to the general public and to reflect its new product offering
