I was an internal customer of Ray's for 9 years (2007 - 2015). As the Database administrator for a Lotus Notes database, developed by Ray, on which a major portion of Zurich's internal control framework relies, we worked together extensively during that period. In the course of that time, the database underwent significant upgrades, some generated by compliance requirements, others at the request of parts of the business that needed efficiency improvements. For that entire period, it is fair to say that Ray constantly exceeded my expectations. Not only did he deliver on every project/work deliverable, he also provided additional options that demonstrated his knowledge both of the tool he was using and the needs of his customers. His attention to detail is tremendous and along with the ownership and responsibility he takes for his work, he was indeed a brilliant service provider. I cannot recommend Ray highly enough and would gladly welcome any opportunity to work with him again if the possibility presented itself.
