I worked with Ray in heavy fabrication. Ray was highly skilled and took a lot of pride in his work. Ray was a mentor to others that worked around him and did to hesitate to go over and above expectations. Rays skills are not limited to fabrication. Ray could easily slide into a management, or engineering role and would easily excel. I highly recommend Ray for any position he would pursue.

Ray worked on my line as maintenance tenician/robot tech the 2 years I was Foundry Supervisor at Chassix. Ray did an outstanding job in his role. He has great knowledge of machinery and understands the importance of decreasing downtime. Ray would be a great fit to any organization looking for a maintenance or robot tech position.

While at Chassix started as contracted help thru Pro Services FMT program. Chassix 6 months later bought out my contract and placed me as a maintenance tech on the Ford motor company's casting process. Responsibilities included: Maintaining 2 GMR turntables with 16 tilt stations also known as turn tables 10 and 11 cooling systems involving around 420 asco valves electrical slip rings and rotary unions which supplies water air and hydraulics for the systems. each table had 8 drive motors and 8 idlers to help rotate 340,000 lbs on tracks developed preventive spill out design for each station on turntable 11 for zero downtime when spill out occurred. A spill out of molten aluminum would normally result in downtime of a station 8-24 hours. Performed structural repairs as needed. Both tables had 275 gallon hydraulic tanks with 1 40 horse at work and 1 with back-up w/ 10 horse circulation each 40 horse motor had a 29 gpm piston pump. Each table had 40 hydraulic valves 1 SIIF flash trim press with transfer tables 1 ASD flash trim press with transfer tables each table had its own sand core knock out station Together 9 fanuc robots with end of arm tooling. EOAT had hydraulic and pneumatic clamping systems. 6 saw cells with 15 horse motors 9 scrap conveyors and 2 process parts conveyors. During my time there I had 15- 20 Chassix and contracted workers at one time to provide preventive maintenance and inspection of structures everyday every four hours alternating between die preps schedules. While also bringing stations back online with repairs as needed. Everyday involved electrical repairs learning to lead my own way with highly skilled supervision as needed all the while to help train newly recruited supervisors and production personnel. Was also with the rebuilding of turntable 6 for B.M.W. in 3 mos. towards the end of my stay was selected to perform a complete tear down and rebuild of UBE630t squeeze cast machine for Nissan within 4.5 mos.
