Nimish Pandya
I worked with Ray for almost seven years at Pioneer. One of his accomplishments at Pioneer was to develop advanced reservoir engineering workflows that improved and guided field development decisions. He was one of the leaders in implementing the use of bottom hole gauges for pressure and rate transient analyses for understanding the impact of well spacing and completions intensity to well performance. He also has a great passion for programming and is able to synthesize large datasets very quickly. He taught VBA programming to many of his direct reports (including me). It has been been my privilege to have been mentored by him and highly recommend Ray as he is one the best reservoir engineers that I have worked with.

I worked with Ray while I was at Pioneer Natural Resources. Ray is one of the unique managers who is a great leader/mentor, but also can get his hands dirty and do the work himself. He has a great understanding of the both the technical and commercial side of reservoir engineering and is very prolific with computer software including writing code when needed. I would highly recommend Ray for any company looking for a very high powered reservoir engineer who can lead a large group or do the detailed reservoir engineering work himself.
