Ray and I met at a professional development conference in 2011 and instantly connected about a number of topics regarding independent school admissions. After the conference, Ray actually came to visit my school in Colorado to get a better look at a potential option for his kids at Hillside. A few things resinated with me about Ray that I am sure most people he has worked with will agree; his passion for education, care he gives kids and his enthusiasm. Ray has a palpable passion for education and it shows in his level of commitment to not only the school and his position but the way he cares for the kids. He pays close attention to them and their needs and does his best to support them in every aspect of the school. This is where his enthusiasm comes into play, they connect with him because of his care and enthusiasm. There are some key attributes that one needs to possess as they move through this independent school world successfully and Ray has them and these skills are refined as well. Ray would be an asset to any school or job but most importantly he can be trusted to represent a brand and be the face of a school and because of this, I highly endorse and recommend Ray Cross for any job. Sincerely, O'Neal Turner
