I'm currently the head of the Computer Science and Design Technology department. My role includes monitoring lessons, managing resources and teaching. As part of my role I encourage students to take part in extra curricular activities such as the UK National Bebras challenge. This year we have managed to get one student into the final round out of thousands in the UK. I have extra curricular clubs running and I organise skypes with people in the industry who can talk to students about how they got into the computer science industry. I'm still developing my role but I'm very excited about the future. I currently manage a team of 7 which is looking to grow due to the popularity of Computer science. Show less
