The Communications Officer supports the overall goals and objectives of the Department Communications, Advocacy, Knowledge Management, under the strategic direction of the Head Communications, Advocacy, and Knowledge Management. The role contributes to the development, implementation and monitoring of Department’s strategies and activities plans covering both offline and online approaches and internal and external activities. The role also supports design and implementation of public relations strategies and plans, including media relations, development of knowledge-based communications materials and media assets, as well as actively contributing to the planning and execution of public and media advocacy campaigns, public events promoting WWF’s mission and expertise and meeting conservation advocacy objectives and Eastern Plains landscape’s communications priorities.
