I was part of Oracle Fusion Applications Demo Build Team (Demo Services), responsible for building over 1500 customized pods as per Oracle sales team’s requirements for demo purpose. Fusion Applications (FA) is Oracle’s ERP offering on SAAS. I was responsible for provisioning and rehydrating the pods using SDI and handoff the template after containerising it for rollout to operations team upon functional and technical freeze. We also upgraded and patched the release every quarter before the new version was generally available to outside customers. Other daily tasks included troubleshooting and fixing issues in these pods, pairing and integrating FA pods with different products/components, creating and executing CRs, P2T to create clones from master pods, automating regular tasks via scripts. I worked on technologies like Weblogic, Oracle Database, Oracle BI, IDM, OHS, SQL, Shell scripting, Python scripting, etc. Show less

I worked as Weblogic Administrator, DBA and Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator for different clients like Honda 2 wheelers India, Toyota India and Toyota Thailand. By working in these accounts, I gained extensive client-site exposure and production support experience. I was responsible for installation, configuration and upgradation of middleware and database. Regular tasks included deployments and monitoring of applications, servers, database and OS. Some of the other duties were automating regular tasks though shell scripting, taking backup/restores, creating clone environments, etc. I also did extensive PL/SQL coding, database schema designing, data migration and other database/SQL tasks.
