Fintech Startup where I was invited as CTO. I helped investors with the bidding of the software provider for the platform, for which I evaluated 5 different software development companies. All the business requirements where gathered, organized, and delivered to the software provider by me, conducting the rapport with the business experts from the investors side, analyzing along with them, the existing ecosystem of similar startups in Mexico so we could come with a disruptive platform that followed the unique processes we defined for the business in mind. I lead the software team from the provider with scrum and agile with great success and the investors where very happy with the result, looking forward to enhance the capabilities of the platform as of now, in order to adapt it to an evolving competitive environment. First startup I ever worked in, after years on corporate. This startup business is online financial factoring with a crowd funding approach. My role here was quality, development lead and in whole, the design of the software product that enabled fondimex to insert itself in a growing online financial market. My vision here was absolutely disruptive. As our competitors were banks and corporate financial institutions, we had to reach to our customers in a more dynamic, informal and immediate way than our competitors, and that approach had to be directly reflected in our software platform. www.fondimex.com Show less

My role at the Intel organization consisted of opening a Software development group in the Guadalajara site, starting as a one man operation (me) developing tools that focused on exposure of high management data, which was gathered from inputs coming from medium management operations. At the end of my time in Intel, I gather a group of 4 developers that delivered low defect, high quality and on time solutions for our clients on Intel sites all around the globe My role at the Intel organization consisted of opening a Software development group in the Guadalajara site, starting as a one man operation (me) developing tools that focused on exposure of high management data, which was gathered from inputs coming from medium management operations. At IBM I worked on a founding team that opened business with the client John Deere. We offered our customer support for a wide set of tools that they had already in production. I was in charge of a varied set of tools developed in a variety of technologies as well, providing all levels of support in more than 15 different apps. This position opened the opportunity for me to start moving my carrer towards a more product owner approach. At IBM I worked on a founding team that opened business with the client John Deere. At banco popular (on site in Dominican republic) I delivered a web service solution (.NET) to link the processes that the bank made on Siebel and BPM platforms with ApplicationXtender (a document storage tool), regarding client documents storage and operations with the bank business. I built the needed displaying, transfer and maintenance tools. At HP I was a technical leader in charge of the on-boarding process of several software assets that were part of a project meant to gather all the legal paperwork that HP generates worldwide. I had 2 .Net developers and 1 java under my wing, here I was handling the administrative side of the software cycle and the tech lead of the construction part, and the test leading as well. Under my responsibilities were: • Get access to server clusters to install app • Improve the .net template performance used as a base for solution development • Handle solution delivery with developers • Meetings with assets owners to gather missing or erroneous information Show less
