It is been superb working together with Raul. He is always punctual, his knowledge is vast and extensive. Raul leads by example and many people at GIANT Health find his enthusiasm and dedication both inspiring and motivating. Give him the really challenging tasks, especially those that everyone else is struggling with, and he will get them done. Raul will find a way to weather any storm with a smile. I would highly recommend him as a software developer.

I met Raul during his internship at GIANT Health Event. He immediatelly struck me like a bright and hard working individual. Throughout the period of our cooperation he shown initiative, ability to solve problems and readiness tow ork outside of comfort zone. His reasults were impressive enough for me to invite him to one of my startup projects at the end of his internship. I can wholehartedly recommend Raul for any position he might apply for and I am looking forward to working with him again in the future.

Sponsored by Intel Corporation and the Faculty of Engineering, Imperial College London Conducted practical research into the potential benefits hardware acceleration could have in agent-based epidemics simulation models, primarily through the use of FPGA devices. Optimised kernel algorithms using techniques such as loop unrolling, pipelining, shared memory and improving cache locality. Achieved a ~60% increase in memory utilization and 130% speedup in execution time. Iteratively wrote documentation in an easy to consume fashion, which you can view below Official Project documentation: https://bit.ly/3uIfrkd Show less

Aggregated data from multiple social media platforms in the attempt to interpret the engagement level targeted users had with content posted by GIANT Health. Created custom applications that utilized webhooks from Hubspot CRM for real-time data analytic research. Built scripts to maintain synchronous customer data over Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Hubspot CRM and MYSQL db. This resulted in an overall reduction in bounce rates from mail campaigns by 6% as the most up to date information on customers is now processed by each platform. Show less
