My role was to be a student ambassador of the College who contacted and sought funds from alumni, students' parents, past-parents and other relevant stakeholders in order to raise funds for the College Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is important in that it funds a major part of the College's educational operational expenditures such as Overseas and Study Abroad Programs, Other extra-curricular activities, Financing of professor-student partnerships and helped provide scholarships for students… My role was to be a student ambassador of the College who contacted and sought funds from alumni, students' parents, past-parents and other relevant stakeholders in order to raise funds for the College Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is important in that it funds a major part of the College's educational operational expenditures such as Overseas and Study Abroad Programs, Other extra-curricular activities, Financing of professor-student partnerships and helped provide scholarships for students attending Lewis & Clark College. It is estimated that about 90 percent of the student population rely on some formof scholarship due to the Annual Fund. My responsibilities included calling the aforementioned stakeholders and informing them of the college's new developments as well as requesting for their generous donations to the Annual Fund to help continue the college's good work.
