  In the fight against HIV and TB it has been noted that QMS implementation is an important component if the UNAIDS objectives are to be achieved in Zimbabwe. I am therefore responsible for the implementation of LQMS in 5 District Hospital Laboratories and 3 Mission Hospitals in the Midlands Province. The key performance indicators are 1)Reduction of TAT for all HIV Viral Load tests within the Midlands Province 2)Scaling up of HIV Viral Load testing to cover everyone in the province 3)Making sure all samples are transported to the testing laboratories within acceptable time limits. 4)Making sure all clients receive their results on tine.
