Construction management and technical assistance of Reus Airport

Viarium, hired by AENA, is providing the technical assistance and construction management of the extension of Reus Airport. The project includes the expansion of the terminal building to increase departure, arrival and passenger waiting area by 5000 m2 and achieving a capacity of 3 million passengers per year. The total budget for the extension is 14 million. The main aim is to renovate and expand passenger terminals to accommodate the strong growth in Extra Schengen passengers. Other improvements include new offices, luggage bands, and upgrating the security fencing and access control equipment. My role includes monitoring the progress of the works, quality and budgetary control, time management, health and safety control and follow-up of the Environmental Plan. Show less

Finished my project in architecture, specialising in public space and taking advantage on the potential resources that the urban context may have. In essence, "Centro de Cultura y Acogida en Caravaca" (CCAC) is a multipurpose building, and could be used as two differentiated facilities at the same time: as local library/museum, and as social hostel, aiming to encourage culture knowledge and youthness interest, being this last point one of the most crucial matters to guarantee the revitalising of the historic towns.
