  Third year PhD candidate at Kenyatta University, School of Visual Arts and Theatre, Department of Theatre Arts and Film Technology, My thesis is on Animation films in Kenya, and has successfully defended PhD proposal at the department and school, and currently collecting data. I successfully designed curriculum in Graphic Design concentration, which was approved at Africa Nazarene University, Department of Mass Communication. Has published seven ODEL manuals for Online Learning Developed my teaching philosophy and uploaded my E- teaching portfolio on the internet platform. Currently teaches art and design at JKUAT in Landscape Architecture department and Kenya Institute of Mass Communication on part-time basis. Presented a paper at Africa Nazarene University’s 1st Annual International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Sustainable Development, the paper entitled: Animation as an Aid for Higher Education Teaching in Kenya: The case of Africa Nazarene University, May 30th 2014. Defended successfully the proposal for Doctor of Philosophy in film studies, at departmental level, waiting for school defense. Attained a certificate in Student-centered learning in Higher Education from York St John University, United Kingdom; Awarded certificate for Distance Learning/ eLearning workshop at Africa Nazarene University.Presented a paper at the first design conference in Kenya; Nairobi International Design Conference, the paper entitled: The role of Creative problem Solving Skills among the Youth in the Industrialization process in Kenya, May 26th 2011, University of Nairobi.Presented a paper entitled: Identity and Constitution in Kenya, at Catholic University of Eastern Africa, April 28th 2011, BAWAKI Conference. These papers are going to be published.Participant of the 2011 IFLA Africa Symposium on Landscape Architecture Education and Practice at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, 5th-7th October 2011.
