Once refined, calibrated and confirmed accurate, used procedure to analyze fish cortisol rises in response to anthropogenic noise stress. Presented procedure and preliminary results in poster at the 2010 Benthic Ecology Meeting (Wilmington, NC), as well as at the 66th Northeast Fish and Wildlife Conference (Boston, MA).This procedure can be adapted to any stressors; sound, acidity, salinity, nutrient/oxygen availability, temperature, transport or any other environmental stressor to fish (aggression, predation, etc) Show less
