I meet Ran about 3 years ago as the Cloud Operation Manager at Orbograph, he showed a very strong understanding of Orbograph's business needs along side with the ability to drive cost control safely. As a Cloud System's Architect I could feel he's very technical, from application implementations aspects, AWS Architecture, strong awareness of 3rd party solutions and most of all very innovative and open to try new technologies.
