My tenure at JD Sports, Westfield initially started as a Christmas temp job, but after the Christmas period concluded I was kept on as a permanent member of staff. It was a very busy period, being in Westfield during Christmas time, and at times was left flustered with the volume of customers. But I was helped by my team, and soon persevered over the pressure. After a few weeks, I decided it best I leave the role, as it was clashing with my studies and I couldn’t fully dedicate myself to either party at the time. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed the role & it was a real learning curve, which set me onto the customer service pathway. My main roles included; - Greeting customers. - Assisting them with any queries they might have. - Maintaining the shop standards. - Restocking the shelves with products whenever they were running thin. - Ensuring no theft could occur by being attentive to each and every customers at all times.
