  Experience of thirty five years in various research and educational institutes of repute in India. Completed Ph.D in experimental nuclear physics on "Spectroscopic study of 121,123I isotopes" from Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata and the Ph.d degree was awarded by the University of Kolkata. Completed post doctoral research in Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics Kolkata, Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre Kolkata , Institute of Physical and Chemical Research Riken, Japan and UGC-DAE consortium for scientific research Kolkata. Currently retired from service from B.P.Poddar Institute of Management and Technology Kolkata as associate professor and HOD. Undertook the responsibility of teaching Engineering Physics to the students of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Science and Engineering students. Currently doing research in theoretical interpretation of experimental data in nuclear structure obtained from in-beam gamma ray spectroscopy. Other field of learning and research is nanoscience, nuclear astrophysics. Show less
