Responsible for developing and modernizing CBE's monetary policy strategy, a key pillar of the banking sector reform program launched in 2004. Was the CBE liason with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Sovereign Rating Agencies; and represented the country's monetary authority in domestic and international conferences and fora, including at the Egyptian Parliament. Helped design and present the Government of Egypt's Economic Program after the 2011 revolution.
