The Hero's Hall Supervisor, or Ward Supervisor, is to perform supervisory functions for the personnel assigned to Hero's Hall. The purpose of Hero's Hall is to coordinate transportation of Veterans to and from facilities external to the University Drive campus, and serve as a waiting area for Veteran patients. The incumbent will manage functions of the daily activities of the area, as well as supervise the Social Science Aid (Escorts) assigned to the area. This includes managing the timely flow of patients across the hospital. This position requires the ability to plan, make decisions and act to meet the needs of user services and division, analysis of current and future requirements and oversight of all activities designed to ensure timely and efficient execution of the program. They will also provide administrative and technical assistance related to the management and operation of Hero's Hall. This position, located in the Hero's Hall of University Drive, reports directly to the Administrative Officer of Patient Care Service. Other duties include but not limited to: Formulating and implementing policies, procedures, program standards/objectives, and goals.
