In this position, I am honored to be amongst the specialists’ team when ICS was awarded the International School of Inclusion for the year 2020. I am also playing an instrumental role in establishing and running one of the few OT departments in an international school worldwide. Role Focus • I increase the OT facility by steering screening in classes, closely liaising with parents, contributing to the referral process, and promoting OT at all levels of the school. • I also assess the results of intervention by observing, noting, and evaluating student's progress while recommending and implementing relevant adjustments and modifications in liaison with parents, class teachers, and learning support assistants. • Additionally, I pay attention to details in documenting student support by contributing to weekly emails, maintaining accurate data taking, and updating IEPs termly. Key Highlights • I successfully started a bespoke occupational therapy (OT) department from the ground up, including starting the physical setting of an Ayres Sensory Integration room/s, purchasing resources within the budget, and training involved staff for the yearly department expansion, etc. • Further, I assist students in developing or regaining their OT related areas of performance by implementing research-based programs that provide quality care. This happens by closely liaising with the teachers and parents in assessing and interpreting evaluations and standardized test results, while designing occupational therapy treatment plans. Independent Occupational Therapy Consultant

In this role, I deliver high-quality consulting services for private centers in Amman, including helping in training their OT staff and establishing more efficient procedures that promote the quality of their services. Role Focus • I provide group and 1:1 occupational therapy sessions and conducting assessments as an Independent/Freelance Occupational Therapist. • From time to time, I raise awareness about OT by actively participating in Career Day for high school students. • In this role, I conduct Pro Bono teletherapy and phone consultations, in collaboration with one of the first Arabic online platforms in the ME to support underprivileged children. I’ve been in charge of the smooth running and implementation of programs as Programs Administrator. I’ve while also been in charge of programs development as director of development, making sure that programs are carried out successfully from planning through implementation. Setting standards and helping members of team reach levels of professionalism far and beyond institutionally set standards. - Responsible for high performance and satisfaction rating, judging from direct feedback given by parents and satisfied clients. Leveraging on good communication skills to achieve results. - Appraisal of service delivery, taking into consideration the effectiveness of both groups and one-on-one sessions. As the director of training and curriculum used as the tool for transition or vocational class. Also involved in the planning and implementation of fresh innovative programs for students. Key Highlights :- Involved in the development of "transition curriculum” which was used as a tool to equip students in the age bracket of between 15 and 21 years. The transition curriculum encouraged the seamless transition into adulthood as well as into the community hitch free.- I pioneered the first vocational class which was designed to enable and empower students with usable as well as marketable skills. The vocational class helped students to integrate well into life and also make them fit suitably into the society. - I facilitated an on-site training geared towards jobs and social skills for better infusion of students into the community. Key Highlights:- I facilitated and executed a rich and thorough assessment of students not less than 60 in population. I used a wide array of markers and pointers to profile students for suitable occupations every year. - I was involved as a co-creator in the production of a template and a database for reporting of important criteria, conforming to international standards of best practices.

Key Highlights :- I regularly took numerous students through therapy sessions with no less than 35 sessions in a typical week, documenting the sessions accurately and correctly mapping progress.- Using clinical diagnosis, I was able ascertain the treatment plan based on client’s data. I had to work with each patient along with their family members.
