  Manage a backup up system that included an LTO 3 tape backup system and Symantec Backup Exec. Use of SharePoint to create a general knowledge base for the IT department. Changed the Exchange environment from a 2000 version to a 2003 version. Create and maintain user accounts in active directory. Update computers by setting up WSUS and replicating the settings between different sites. Set up remote users with VPN connections into the main location. Travel to remote locations to setup and install new servers and equipment. Manage a Bluecoat web filter for user internet access. Update antivirus on individual computers using a centrally managed Symantec solution. Setup a video conferencing solution for interoffice communication as well as external conferences using polycom codecs.
