Serve as the Director CJ4 in a three star NATO Command, NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan (NTM-A) /Combined Security Transition-Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Responsible for planning and executing internal logistics support and policies for NTM-A Headquarters. Manage the day-to-day activities of the CJ4 directorate with an emphasis on mobility, maintenance, supply, and donations operations. Contribute logistics expertise and solutions to NTM-A Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) working groups. Coordinate and synchronize logistics efforts with the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Headquarters, ISAF Joint Command (IJC) and U.S. Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A). Responsible for logistical training and maintaining the welfare, and morale of the CJ4 Staff, consisting of U.S. and Coalition Officers, Warrant Officers and NCOs. Advocate focus on key strategic logistics priorities; Guide and assist in transition of NTM-A logistics sustainment; Support planning as required for 2013 and future years; Focus on improvements in readiness reporting; Produce staff summaries of documents for NTM-A/CSTC-A key leaders; Coordinate staff actions involving internal and external organization; Mentor and train CJ4 staff in the performance of their duties.
