This program’s mission is to standardize and automate the accounting processes, rules, controls and data management through the implementation of a common financial systems application deployed globally across all of Chartis. The legacy systems for the multiple legal entities, insurance products, and countries were developed independently of each other. This history creates extensive strategic and logistical challenges in the process of integrating these systems that are widely diverse in their platforms. Tasks and experience includes: • Manage relationships with senior executives and stakeholders including Deployment Committees, Process Owners and Process Owner Committees. • Determine and drive the strategy for the Program including the approach, staffing, assignment of responsibility, and scheduling. • Overall responsibility for the timely execution of the strategies, overseeing quality control, time management of team members, and continual interaction with business stakeholders within each business unit as well as the corporate management team. • Continually provide broad direction setting based on the over-riding information needs of the business segment leaders so they can make more informed strategic decisions in driving towards increased profitability. • Position requires using detailed knowledge of accounting and reporting skills; an understanding of quality planning and analysis processes; and the diverse awareness of each business segment’s unique marketplace challenges and opportunities.
