I had amazing internship with the Transportation Demand Management (TDM) team at King County Metro. I gained exposure to work in the public sector, in transportation, and in a larger organization than I had previously worked in before. My teammates were fantastic and I am enthusiastic about the future of transportation if it's in the hands of my colleagues here. While there are many challenges in this field, as there are in every other, I believe we're pointed in the right direction and are making great progress. My work involved support for a handful of TDM programs. I coordinated with community partners, created supporting documentation for a low-income fares project, and worked with my lead to develop a 2-year planning document for our section. Feel free to ask me more if you're interested in my work here! Show less
