I worked with Randal on a global website and intranet project where I was in charge of all the coordination and communication of the very specific needs of 20+ partners part of an international association. I was communicating the information from a front-end/visual perspective and Randal had to transfer that same information to another supplier involved (web developer) from a back-end perspective, which was quite a mandate! The scope of the project grew unexpectably over the years and we had to adjust several times and work on many phases. It was definitely challenging! I attended Randals presentation of 20/20 Vision at Channelcon in Chicago 2015. This presentation came on the heels of having just found out about our company undergoing a merger (which ultimately was an acquisition). This change in our company was a great partnership, and tripled the size of our company overnight. However, having just found out a few days before Channelcon.....Talk about needing to have absolute clarity in where I was personally and professionally. I literally teared up in Randals talk. I felt like he was talking directly to me. His transparency, drive, and encouragement gave me the focus I needed in a time where I was feeling quite uncertain of what exactly to focus on.
